My strong knowledge of swimming has grew through years. I consider myself as a great swimmer. However, as a great swimmer l have streghts and weaknesses. Unfortunately, sometimes my Mental Readiness is not that strong. l usually focus more with my anxiety and afreadness to do something. l know that l need to believe more in myself and project myself not to think something that l cannot do by myself.

Self-talk
Self-talk plays a huge role within you and your sport. It can be constructive and destructive. Wich means that if it is not great your performance can be bad, but if it is positive talk your performance would go great. whatever you are passing through, no matter if it is easy or hard, keep always a great thought inside your mind whenever you're performing or playing. We all now that our mind is powerfull and all you think can produce positive or negative acts.

Imaginary
l believe everyone has done this. Imagination can be done from the youngest to the oldest (everyone) this kind of tool is a great way to project ourselfs to visualize our goal or our finish. By imagine all what could happen on what we woud do. Focus more on our victory and what other people would see "us". This is a very practical tool and is easy to focus.

Success Cycle/ Failure Cycle
I have seen lots of these examples in swimming. However, these are not always because the athlete is not good at what he or she is doing. It depends on what you as an athlete you are weak at. It can be focus, being positive, believe that you can do it, and being good at controling your distractions. Therefore, feilure is shown when an athlete looses what she or he wanted to accomplish. But you can get over that by being full focus, being positive that you can do it, but also you have to believe in yourself. If you don't believe that you can do it, no one is going to believe for yourself. So, always keep belief and commitment as your number one inside your head.
